JOYSAGAR, May 26: Pradip Ch. Sarma (62), a resident of Baksu village, Dhitaipukhuri, Sivasagar died due to drowning in the Desang River on Saturday. Sarma had gone for a bath in the river but suddenly came under heavy current of water and was drowned. Police recovered his body and after post mortem was handed over to his family members.
