GOLAGHAT: In a road accident that took place on NH-39 near Nambor Reserve Forest in Golaghat on Wednesday evening, one person was killed on the spot.
According to report, a passenger bus bearing number AS 03BC 4707 was coming from Dimapur towards Golaghat. It met with a head-on collision with a truck bearing registration number AS AC 1160.
In the accident, the bus driver died on the spot and 15 passengers of the bus sustained injuries. All of them were sent immediately to the Swahid Kushal Konwar Civil Hospital. The deceased has been identified as Babul Ali of Rongajan area.
