SIVASAGAR, May 18: ONGC has suspended a Deputy General Manager (Drilling) posted at ONGC Assam Asset, who was arrested by CBI at Sivasagar on May 16 in an alleged corruption charge. In a press communiqué, its is stated that ONGC would extend all required support to CBI in carrying out its investigation. ONGC follows a zero-tolerance policy towards any kind of corrupt practices or system aberrations with malafide intentions. If any individual or group of individuals is found to be non-compliant of the policies and ethics of the company, strictest possible steps as per rules and procedures are taken, the release stated.
