SIVASAGAR: The Ujoni Axom Muslim Kalyan Parishad (UAMKP) has lauded the Indian Armed Forces for the successful execution of Operation Sindoor, targeting terrorist bases in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir. In an official statement to the press, the UAMKP praised the armed forces for avenging the inhuman and barbaric acts of Pakistani terrorists, who allegedly forced married Indian women to wipe off their sindoor.
UAMKP President Monirul Islam Bora, Working President Rofik Hussain, and General Secretary Shamsul Hussain jointly stated that the Indian Armed Forces’ operation upheld the honour and dignity of Indian women. According to them, this was not the first time India had decisively demonstrated its military strength against Pakistan.
The statement accused Pakistan of being a long-time breeder of terrorism, sheltering organizations like Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed, which have effectively operated as parallel governments alongside the Pakistani military. The UAMKP also recalled the assassination of Dr Moidul Islam Bora, a nationalist from Assam, allegedly for opposing the communal ideology of the Muslim League and the creation of Pakistan.
The UAMKP called Pakistan a state sponsor of terrorism, stating that since 1950, it has continued to provide safe havens for radical Islamic groups. The organization reiterated that Kashmir is an integral part of India and condemned Pakistan’s forceful occupation of parts of the region under the name Azad Kashmir.
In light of Operation Sindoor’s success, the UAMKP urged the Indian Government to continue strong retaliatory actions by land, air, and sea to eliminate terrorist threats from Pakistani soil. The UAMKP further appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take firm steps towards integrating Pakistan into a unified and sovereign India as part of the vision for Akhand Bharat.
