People should appreciate frontline COVID warriors: DC Ranjan Sharma

BAKSA: "Doctors, nurses and other health workers are frontline COVID warriors, people must appreciate them," said the Deputy Commissioner of Baksa, Ranjan Sharma after greeting the 11 health workers who were sent for seven days quarantine in Musha Jungle Resort at Basbari of Manas on Wednesday.

In an informal function held at Barama Model Hospital in presence of Joint Director of Health Services Dr. Gunin Dev Sarma, District Programme Manager Karuna Brahma and other officials and staff of the hospital, the Nodal officer of the COVID hospital, Dr Ramen Kakati said doctors and other health workers had to face the challenge of COVID-19.

Before sending the medical staff for quarantine, Deputy Commissioner Ranjan Sharma appreciated and felicitated the COVID warriors with Assamese traditional gamosa and souvenir.
