Police still clueless about broad daylight robbery of SBI ATM dacoits in Doomdooma

DOOMDOOMA: Except recovering the dead body of the injured dacoit from inside of Dangri Forest Reserve on Thursday, the Police is still clueless about the other three members of the dacoits’ group involved in the broad daylight robbery of SBI ATM looting case at Rupaisiding on Wednesday where one security personnel Simu Buragohain (42) got killed in the exchange of fire that ensued between him and the two dacoits waiting outside the ATM.

The injured dacoit who has been identified as Binon Moran(35) of Borali village under Kakapather PS, was taken away by the rest of the dacoit group in a motorbike forcefully just after the incident. In the process, a scooty in which they reportedly came was left behind by them in an abandoned state. According to Police, the deceased dacoit Binon Moran is the husband of the owner of the said scooty. The Police recovered the dead body of the dacoit, Binon Moran, on receiving information from the forest personnel. Though the Police are tight-lipped about the incident, yet it had not arrested anybody so far.
