BONGAIGAON: Nagen Das (40), a priest of Abhayapuri Ganesh Temple, allegedly died by suicide on Wednesday night. According to his family members, he came home in the evening and then went to the backyard of the house. "After a long time when he did not return home, we searched for him and found his body covered with blood in the backyard. We informed the police," the family members said. Police arrived on the spot and started an investigation. As per sources, it is supposed to be suicide. "Das was unmarried and he was mentally disturbed for the last few months," said local people. He allegedly used a sharp weapon to kill himself. Police have started investigation.
