PALASBARI: The Professors of Dakshin Kamrup College (DK), Mirza visited the houses of 30 students on Friday who were locked up at home due to the closure of the college for mini lockdown. The team of professors was led by Prasanta Kalita, Department of Mathematics and included Utpal Das, Department of Chemistry, Manabendra Kalita, Department of Biotechnology, and Dr Sailendra Kumar Das, former Professor of English. The team visited the backward char areas of Boko, Sonatli, Kalatali, Chamaria, Chayagaon, Goroimari, Gumi etc to understand and teach the students. It is worth mentioning that the students from the backward areas are also deprived of the benefits of online classes due to poor networks.
