Prominent citizen Snahamay (Jhantu) Bardhan passes away in Tinsukia

TINSUKIA: Snahamay (Jhantu) Bardhan, vice-president of Tinsukia District Congress Committee and president of Tinsukia Daily Bazar Merchants' Association, breathed his last at his Tamulbari residence Tinsukia on Monday evening. He was 67.

Though he died due to cardiac problem, he developed post-COVID stress disorder. While Daily Bazar was declared closed on Tuesday as a mark of respect, the District Congress Committee has deeply condoled his death. He leaves behind his wife, two daughters and a son.
