The puja committees in Dibrugarh have taken different themes but the rain dampened the spirit of the people.
"Every year, our puja has been a crowd puller because we take different themes. This year, we thought the people will flood our puja pandal but rain has dampened the spirit," said Bapi Sarkar, a member of Shantipara Kali Puja committee.
Progressive Youth cultural Association, Banasbari Pathar has taken 'Haunted House' as their theme this year. "Children will enjoy our theme.
