RANGIA: Rangia Police, headed by Bhadreswaar Pegu, apprehended drug peddler Jakir Hussain of village Khandikar under Baksa district from Rangia Milanpur acting on a tip-off. According to police officer Pegu, after receiving specific information, a team of Rangia Police in civil dress camped at Rangia Milanpur. When the notorious drug peddler Jakir Hussain alias Malu was proceeding towards Rangia town on a motorcycle , police detained him. Police recovered 10 plastic containers with drugs, four rounds live cartridges of 7 mm pistol and two packets of cigarette from his possession. Interrogation is on.
