KOKRAJHAR: A strong reception committee was formed for the observation of the 54th annual conference of the Kokrajhar district committee, ABSU, scheduled to be held on December 9, December 10 and December 11 at Dogorpara, Salakati in the Kokrajhar district.
Sources from Kokrajhar district committee, ABSU, said that on Sunday, the Kokrajhar district committee, ABSU, had formed the reception committee of its 54th annual conference with Jitendra Brahma as chairman and Milan Mashahary as convener while Mahat Basumatary and Samil Chandra Basumatary are the vice chairmen.
The meeting for formation of the reception committee was chaired by Manin Basumatary, president of Salakati Anchalik committee, ABSU, at Sabaram Basumatry Hall, Dogorpara. Leaders of Salakati, North Kokrajhar and Nayekgaon Anchalik committees, ABSU and local intellectuals, teachers and leaders of allied organizations were present.
