Guwahati: In a first, the Secondary Education Board of Assam (SEBA) has announced that it will declare the 10th results this year only through an app and websites. This decision has been taken by keeping in mind the threat posed by the Covis-19 virus that spreads in community gatherings.
This year, the SEBA board shall release the results of the High School Leaving Certificate (HSCL) and Assam High Madrassa (AHM) exams through its online app called SEBA Results 2020 which will be available on the Google Playstore as a free download. Additionally, the results will also be available on 14 websites.
The students shall be able to avail the results after submitting their roll numbers, exam centre numbers, as well as their date of birth as per the roll numbers.

It is pertinent to mention here that the announcement of the declaration of 10th results was made by state Education Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday. Sarma also said that the Government is eyeing a resumption of classes from mid-June onwards for the students who were forced indoors due to the coronavirus-triggered lockdown. Around 3.50 lakh students appeared in the examinations this year.
