NAGAON: As per directives of the Supreme Court of India, Additional District Magistrate of Kaliabor Subdivision, through an official notification promulgated 144 CrPC in 7 animals corridors of Kaziranga National Park under the subdivision with immediate effect and also prohibited all kinds of new constructions including at the private land under those identified animal corridors.
Besides, in the same notification, the authority concerned also strictly prohibited the parking and stoppage of trucks or other heavy motor vehicle, cleaning and washing of vehicles, use of high voltage or intensely bright electric light, blowing horns or music players in loud volume in those 7 animal corridors of the park. It is however stated in the notification that the prohibition order will continue until further notification.
