Boko: Police officials seized and destroyed more than 1,000 litres of local liquor during Durga Puja festival in the Boko area of Kamrup district.
Officer-in-charge of Boko Police Station, Jogendra Barman led the operation in hotels and shops and seized local-made liquor.
Barman said that due to the operation against liquor, no accident took place under Boko Police Station area during Durga Puja.
