DOOMDOOMA: A seminar on “Internship of Students of Sadiya College” under the National Education Policy was held at the conference hall of the Sadiya Co-District Commissioner (CDC) office with CDC Manasjyoti Nath in the chair recently.

The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Sadiya Co-District Persia Khanikar, chief officers of various departments, and employees of the office of CDC.

Explaining the objectives of the meeting, Dr Bhupen Chutia, Principal of Sadiya College, said that the decision was taken to make students self-reliant and to teach them how to do what they needed to do, what to study or what to do for employment and business, etc. Dwipen Das and Nakul Neog, both Assistant Professors of Sadiya College, gave a brief account on that. 11 students were attached to the office of the CDC and 48 students to the offices of various departments.

CDC Manash Jyoti Nath and Assistant Commissioner Parsia Khanikar requested all the departments to give proper hands-on training to the students so that they would benefit.
