GOLAGHAT: New 16 people tested positive for COVID-19 in Golaghat on Friday, officials said. In Golaghat district, positive cases has gone up to 156. Nine patients have been discharged from the hospital. Till today, active cases in Golaghat is 147. All newly confirmed 16 COVID-19 positive patients are from quarantine centres in the district. Seven patients from Golaghat Commerce College quarantine centre, 3 from Jawahar Novoday Vidyalaya quarantine centre, 2 from Kachamari Model Hospital, 3 from Ratanpur BOP, 2 from Bheloguri GP quarantine centre. Among the new 16 cases, a 6-year-old child tested positive but the child's mother is negative.
