JOYSAGAR, July 31: The Simaluguri divisional forest officials, with the help of the Simaluguri Police, seized a mini truck (AS-04-AC-9809) from Sunpura area of Sivasagar on Monday night. The mini truck was carrying smuggled timber from Bhajo area and was proceeding towards Jorhat when the forest and police team seized the mini truck along with the timber. The driver of the truck was also booked, sources informed. A case has been registered in this connection in Simaluguri PS.
