MORIGAON: With an aim to benefit the farmers towards optimizing crop production, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Wednesday formally launched six Soil Testing Laboratories (STL) in six districts of Assam, including the Morigaon district.
Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma formally handed over the Soil Testing Laboratory (STL) to the Agricultural Department, Assam by centrally opening the six STLs at Khanapara, Guwahati for optimizing crop production in the state. In the Morigaon district, District Agriculture Officer took the initiative to launch the Soil Testing Laboratory (STL). A meeting was conducted by extension officer Dibyajyoti Hazarika in presence of DAO and farmers.
