TEZPUR: A special vaccination drive for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) was organized by Sonitpur district administration on Wednesday at Bapuji Bhavan, Thelamara in Sonitpur district in association with Rotary Club of Tezpur, Rotary Club of Greater Tezpur, Thelamara Bapuji Bhawan and Yuvak Sangha Management Committee.
ADCs Satyajit Chetia, Dyotiva Bora, Assistant Commissioner Simi Karan, CDPOs and other officials were present. The drive was participated by Mridul Kumar Bora, secretary of North Assam Divyang Association, and others members of the association.
The drive was held under the supervision of the Additional Chief Medical and Health Officer, Dr Phani Pathak and DIO, Dr Biman Sharma. Nearly 60 persons received vaccines on Wednesday in this special camp.
