Srimanta Sankardev Sangha adapts Unique venture to collect fund

LAKHIMPUR: Srimanta Sankardev Sangha, the largest religious organization of North East has adapted unique ventures and attempts to collect fund in order to hold its programmes. Following the examples of the central committee, the branch units of the organization have also taken up exemplary attempts to collect fund for the same purpose without depending upon only donation.

The Sankar-Madhav regional unit under Dhakuakhana district body of the Srimanta Sankardeva Sangha will celebrate the silver jubilee of its foundation in this year after some months. In order to extend their contribution with regard to holding the programme, the devotees of Mornoi Chapori village under the regional unit of the organization decided to cultivate mustard to collect fund. At present, the people of the village are seen busy in harvesting the mustard cultivated unitedly in the field of the Borjul Pathar under the Dhakuakhana subdivision of Lakhimpur district. The secretary of the Prathmik Sakha of the organization stated in front of media that the devotees were determined and committed to conduct the extravaganza with grand success and so they have taken up the unique attempt for fund collection setting up an example.
