SARUPATHAR: The Srimanta Sankardev Sangha, Dhansiri district branch took out a protest rally against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019. The agitators rent the air with various slogans. Over 500 people walked out to register their protest against the CAA in front of the office of the Subdivisional officer at Sarupathar under Dhansiri subdivision in Golaghat district. The agitators demanded that the CAA should be scrapped.
