Teer agent handed over to North Lakhimpur Police by social activists

LAKHIMPUR: An agent of teer, a kind of gambling, was handed over to North Lakhimpur Police on Wednesday. The activists of the Lakhimpur district units of Manab Adhikar Sangram Samiti, Hindu Yuva Chatra Parishad and AAMSU caught the teer agent red handed with the teer items while he was managing the game near the LIC office located at Ward No. 14 of North Lakhimpur town. They handed him over to Khelmati Police Outpost. Sambhu Singha, Meraj Ahmed, Karna Jyoti Singha, Ibrahim Ali and Mintu Mustaque lodged an FIR against the agent at the Police Outpost.
