Three-day terracotta workshop concludes at Vivekananda High School, Nagaon

A three-day long terracotta workshop held at the Vivekananda High School in Nagaon town from July 21, concluded on Wednesday. The workshop was organized by Anupurbik Art and Craft Institute, Nagaon.

NAGAON: A three-day long terracotta workshop held at the Vivekananda High School in Nagaon town from July 21, concluded on Wednesday. The workshop was organized by Anupurbik Art and Craft Institute, Nagaon. The closing ceremony was attended by prominent guests, including retired Teacher Rabindra Chandra Das, Headmaster Narayan Majumdar, social worker Anima Saikia, and several artistes and cultural activists of the district. The guests were welcomed, and the closing session of the workshop was smoothly mentored by Rajiv Das, the Founder Principal of the school and a prominent artiste. Over 87 students participated in the workshop, creating various terracotta figurines. During the session, all participating students were awarded certificates and medals. The success of the terracotta workshop was made possible by the dedicated efforts of the management committee members and teachers of the Anupurbik Art and Craft Institute, including Snigdha Bhatta Das, Geeta Debnath, Simpi Mandal, and several others.
