PALASBARI: Two teams of Chaygaon and Kukurmara police led by Chaygaon O.C Kapil Pathak intercepted a timber-laden truck (AS 03 AC 4881) at Roumari bypass and seized a huge quantity of logs at 2.30 am on Saturday. Police sources said that the laden truck was coming from Bijoynagar side and was proceeding towards Futuri while it was intercepted. An occupant in the truck namely Jalil Ali from Bhalagaon under Palasbari constituency was taken into custody.
