TINSUKIA: The Tinsukia district administration, on behalf of the State Government, extended financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh to ailing Pradip Dewan, founder president of All Assam Students' Union (AASU), at his rented house in Sripuria, Tinsukia on Tuesday. Rajkumar Ahom, ADC and Niluram Sharma, AC, handed over the cheque to Dewan after his return from AMCH while wishing him early recovery and good health.
