Tinsukia projects to get priority assures Minister Sanjay Kishan

TINSUKIA: Expressing indebt to Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and State Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma for offering a ministerial birth, the newly-inducted minister and MLA of Tinsukia, Sanjay Kishan, while interacting with media prior to his departure from Tinsukia on Friday evening, said that he would carry out the new responsibility with utmost dedication and honesty and would work for the welfare of the people.

He assured that the ongoing projects in Tinsukia would be his top priority while the process for Rs 74-crore layout in respect of major drains and markets had already started with tendering to begin soon. He also informed that he would regularly visit Tinsukia to oversee the developmental works. Being a down-to-earth person without any significant background and originally hailing from the tea community of Dhelakhat TE near Tinsukia, Sanjay Kishan said that the people of Tinsukia could repose faith in him as before.

Sanjan Kishan is perhaps the only minister in the State staying in a rented house. Currently he lives in Tinsukia’s Bordoloi Nagar.
