TINSUKIA: The excise staff of Tinsukia Sadar circle and Tinsukia Railway circle, along with armed personnel from Panitola OP, conducted a joint raid on Thursday in areas like Betoni gaon, Naharoni, Balijan gaon, Natun gaon, Gutibari and Panitola Railway station. The team, led by Inspector Chandra Kr Baruah of Tinsukia Sadar circle and Shiva Kanta Das of Tinsukia railway circle, while raiding the houses, liquor dens and liquor shops, seized a huge cache of illicit liquor that included 85.8 litres of beer, 36 litres of IMFL, besides destroying fermented wash 2,500 litres, I/D liquor 320litres and six D/A sets.
