SILCHAR: For the first time, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell of Guru Charan College in collaboration with the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) and Cachar district administration conducted an awareness workshop to motivate the candidates aspiring for civil service examinations. The workshop on “Examination Conducted by the APSC” held in Guru Charan College auditorium was attended by APSC chairman Bharat Bhushan Deb Choudhury, Assam University Vice Chancellor Prof Rajive Mohan Pant, Pinky Bargairy, Joint Secretary of the Commission, Dr Bibhas Deb, Principal of GC College and Yubaraj Borthakur, ADC
In his keynote address Deb Choudhury focused on various aspects of APSC-CSE preparation and provided a strategic roadmap on how to approach the competitive examinations. Prof Pant, on the other hand, emphasised the need for hard work, dedication and a positive mindset to achieve success in competitive examinations. The event generated much enthusiasm among the students fraternity of Silchar as more than 200 participants from various colleges attended the workshop.
