NAGAON: Internal Quality Assurance Cell of Udali College in Hojai district organized a day long workshop on academic and administrative audit. Professor Jogen Chandra Kalita, Head of the Department of Zoology, Gauhati University and the former Director of UGC, HRDC, GU, graced the occasion as key resource person. Dr Arun Bora, principal of the college and prof Mostaque Hussain, co- ordinator of IQAC of the college initiated the workshop and delivered the welcome address.
The workshop was conducted in two separate sessions with students as well as with the teachers' community. While addressing the workshop, Dr Kalita advised the youths to engage themselves in community service along with their studies and asked to work for self development through their hard work and dedication. Stressing on plantation of medicinal plants and valuable trees with harvesting of rain water, Dr Kalita expressed that Udali College has a great potentiality as it serves different communities of the rural areas, a release added.
