GOLAGHAT: A well-known businessman, social activist and Yoga instructor from Golaghat, Gaurishankar Binnani passed away on October 5. He was a trained Yoga instructor from Patanjali Yoga Centre at Haridwar. He started organizing yoga camps in different places since the year 2006.
Under his initiative, several Yoga training camps were set up in different parts of the district and Patanjali Yoga Golaghat District Committee was also set up. Gaurishankar Binnani organized four Yoga coaching camps and trained more than 200 yoga instructors. Patanjali Yoga Golaghat District Committee president Lakhidhar Saikia condoled his demise.
