IMPHAL: A combined team of the police and Assam Rifles seized brown sugar worth Rs 2 crore and arrested three persons from Bishnupur district in Manipur.
A police officer said that the security personnel arrested three persons during a routine search at Tangjeng near Ibudhou temple and the smuggled drugs were seized from their possession on Sunday.
The detainees and the seized drugs were handed over to the Kumbi police station. (IANS)
