THOUBAL: Expressing his happiness after achieving the first rank in the NEET-UG 2025 examination in Manipur by scoring 99.82 percentile, Erwin Khundrakpam highlighted that he was expecting such a result, as it was his worst exam of the year.
Khundrakpam said that he wanted to become an engineer in the first instance, but later his father explained the importance of becoming a doctor. The latter said that he gave his first NEET attempt in 2023, and his class 11th results were not good due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“I had no idea this would happen, as this was the worst exam I had all year. I was not expecting this at all. I initially wanted to become an engineer, but my father explained the importance of becoming a doctor, so I gave my first attempt in 2023. My Class 11 results weren’t good because of COVID, so I wasn’t well prepared back then. This year, I tried my best and worked hard,” Erwin Khundrakpam told ANI on Sunday.
The National Testing Agency on Saturday declared the results of the NEET (UG) examination. The NTA shared a post on their official ‘X’ handle and informed about the development. (ANI)
