Illicit drugs worth crores seized by Assam Rifles along Indo-Myanmar border

Assam Rifles troops in Manipur recovered a huge amount of narcotics in Chandel district along the Indo-Myanmar border. According to Assam Rifles, the recovered drugs would cost approximately Rs.6.4 crore in the market.

Assam Rifles took to their Twitter handle to reveal the recovery of the banned drugs on Saturday.

Highly valuable illicit drugs including heroin and WIY (World Is Yours) tablets were recovered from a hideout in Moltuk village of Chandel district.

"The recovered contraband handed over to the police," the Assam Rifles said in its tweet.
