A day after Meghalaya Police retrieved valuable evidence, including jewelry, a laptop, and other stuff, from Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh, Vipin made this statement.

According to reports, officers took these from Silome James's wife's maternal house. James, a real estate entrepreneur, has been arrested for allegedly deleting and hiding evidence related to the murder investigation.

At the Crime Prevention Branch office in Indore, where the Meghalaya Police team has been conducting operations, authorities noticed Vipin.
He told reporters that he gave investigators pictures of the jewelry his
He added that when Raja left for Meghalaya with Sonam, he was wearing a gold ring and chain. Vipin claims that Raja informed their mother that Sonam had demanded that he wear the jewelry when they were on their honeymoon.

“Raja sent us photos taken at the airport before their departure. When our mother saw them, she scolded him over the phone for wearing such costly ornaments. Raja told her Sonam had asked him to wear them,” Vipin recounted.

Meghalaya Police said on Sunday that they had seized laptops, gold jewelry, and other possibly important goods from Raja and Sonam. These electronic gadgets and documents could be crucial in furthering the investigation into Raja's May 23 murder, according to East Khasi Hills Superintendent of Police Vivek Syiem.
