SHILLONG: In an unfortunate incident, a 19-year-old youth from Shillong allegedly took his life by hanging himself inside his room at Jayanagar in Bangalore at around 4 am on Sunday. The young man has been identified as Nicky Swer, resident of Madanriting in Shillong. He was working in a company in Bangalore for a month. Sources informed that his body was found by his colleagues in the morning when they had gone to his room in the morning.
His friends stated that since Saturday night, Nicky appeared restless and was unwilling to go to bed. Even after they asked what the problem was, he refused to divulge anything to them.
His body is currently lying in a hospital morgue as his post mortem is yet to be completed.
The Bangalore unit of KSU has been informed of the incident and the matter has been intimated to the parents.
