SHILLONG: Major General Rajiv Chhibber, SM, Additional Director General of Infantry Directorate interacted with the first batch of Agniveer Trainees of the 58 Gorkha Training Centre and Assam Regimental Center in Happy Valley, Shillong on January 27 and January 28 respectively. He was briefed on the ongoing training of the pilot batch who reported last month. The general officer also reviewed the training activities being undertaken for the Agniveers. During the interaction with the Agniveers he congratulated them for choosing the Indian Army as their preferred choice of service and motivated them to pursue their career path with vigour and passion to achieve higher goals for the nation and themselves, stated a press release.
