Shillong: The Deputy Commissioner, East Jaintia Hills District, Khliehriat has informed that proposals are invited from the Non Governmental Organizations/Clubs/Self Help Groups of East Jaintia Hills District, Khliehriat for availing of Financial Assistance/Grant-in-Aid under the Chief Minister Youth Development scheme to Conduct of Youth Festival, Youth Programmes, Awareness programme/Seminar related to Youth Problem, Youth Development, Youth Adventure Programmes and Youth Counselling and Rehabilitation, a release said.
The Financial Assistance to be sanctioned under this scheme will depend on the merit of the application/proposal. The proposals received from the NGOs/SHGs shall be scrutinized by the District Level Screening Committee and the decision of the Committee will be final. Interested Organizations/Clubs/SHGs/Youth Group etc. are to submit their proposals to the office of the District Planning Officer, East Jaintia Hills District, Khliehriat on or before 2nd November 2018, the release added.
