Shillong: In its continued drive against illicit liquor, the Excise staff of East Khasi Hills District conducted raids in the restaurants and stalls in the town and its outskirts wherein during month of November 2018, the Excise staff detected 23 cases with a seizure of 125.480 litres of i/d liquor and 66.760 litres of IMFL. In this connection, 18 persons were arrested under the Excise Act.
