Shillong: Following the detection of Covid-19 positive cases, the District Magistrate East Khasi Hills District has declared 8 new micro containment zones in the district on Thursday. The 8 new micro Containment zones in the district are as follows:-
First floor of the building of Smti A. Kharbuli, ABP Road, Iewdak, Laban,
Bamboo Hut Restaurant and staff quarters, M.G. Road
Flat No-North 207/208, Ferndale Complex
The compound of Bolinda Kharshandi at Riatsamthiah
Entire J.B. Textile building at Police Bazaar,
Qtr No-P11/3B, GPO Quarters at GPO compound,
The campus of Ram Krishna Mission at Sohra.
In another order, the District Magistrate has directed a tea shop at Garikhana to temporarily down the shutters after the detection of positive COVID-19 cases.
