SHILLONG: The Khun Hynniewtrep National Awakening Movement (KHNAM) in a meeting held at Nongmynsong has taken a decision to field Dimarsing Marbaniang as its candidate for the upcoming MDC election in 2019 from Laitumkhrah Constituency.
The meeting was also attended by the Central Executive Committee (CEC) of the party which included Pyndapborthiaw Saibon president, Frewelson Marpna general secretary, James M.A Neng chief publicity secretary beside others.
After the decision was taken, the candidate Marbaniang expressed his delight about the opportunity which has been given to him to serve the people of the constituency and to reshape the structure of the district council along with the party. “I have followed this party for the past couple of years and in my observation, this party has faced many difficulties along the way but it still strive forward to shape the future of our younger generation,” he said. Meanwhile, the president of KHNAM Pyndapborthiaw Saibon inaugurated the office of the candidate for the upcoming election.
