SHILLONG: Highlighting issues relating to water management and street light in his constituency, West Shillong MLA Mohendro Rapsang (Congress) moved Chief Minister Conrad Sangma on Thursday.
In his letter to the CM, Rapsang informed that there were frequent water shortages in the areas of Lower Mawprem, Mawbah, Sunny Hills, Lama Villa among others. He added that street lights are also not functioning in the areas within his constituency. "This has caused much inconvenience to the people especially during the night time as it is unsafe for them to walk in the dark streets and lanes," his letter read.
He urged the Chief Minister to address these issues in West Shillong.
