SHILLONG: The District Election Officer (DEO), Jowai, West Jaintia Hills district based on an inquiry report received from Sector Officer and police has issued a show-cause notice to Meghalaya Health Minister Alexander Hek for violation of the model code of conduct.
Hek used a government vehicle while campaigning for Shillong BJP Lok Sabha candidate Sanbor Shullai in West Jaintia Hills district.
However, Hek denied using his official vehicle.
