Shillong, July 17: On July 15, police apprehended three persons who were in possession of substances suspected to be drugs from two separate locations. According to police, in the first arrest at around 8:30 am, they caught two persons - Ryntihbah Dkhar (26) and Aiborlang Nongkhlaw from Paltan Bazar near Iewduh, Shillong and recovered 71 pieces of small wrappers containing yellow-orange powder suspected to be heroin. A little while later at around 9 am, police apprehended one Ferdinald Nongrum (26) was apprehended from Nongmensong Umkdait, Shillong. Police recovered 0.9 grams of orange powder suspected to be heroin from his possession.
