AIZAWL: Lunglei Battalion of Headquarter 23 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarter Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) conducted a capsule course on first aid at Company Operating Base (COB) Lungpuk from September 13 to September 20. A total of 25 civilians attended the same.
The aim of the course was to raise awareness regarding first aid for local populace residing in difficult terrain. The people are prone to injuries while farming, fishing and hunting. The lecture covered various commonly inflicted injuries and measures to prevent it. Civilians were imparted healthcare tips to protect themselves and their families from common water-borne diseases, stated a press release.
