AIZAWL: The Serchhip Battalion of 23 Sector Assam Rifles, under the aegis of Inspector General Assam Rifles (East), organized a 'Run for Fun' programme under Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan at Company Operating Base Champhai on Tuesday.
The aim of the event was to sensitize the locals about the importance of following a healthy lifestyle, including physical activities, in day-to-day life and made them aware about drug and tobacco abuse, stated a press release.
