Agartala: On Sunday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will lay the groundwork for seven new projects and launch six significant development projects totalling Rs 668.39 crore at Kulai RF Village Ground in Tripura's Dhalai district. Manik Saha, the Chief Minister of Tripura, will be the Chief Guest at the event.
A Senior Basic School in Bruhapara, Dhalai district, which was constructed at a cost of Rs 1.56 crore, a Health and Wellness Centre in the same district, a Market Shed worth Rs 1.9 lakh, a new building for Birashi Mile Primary Health Centre for Rs 4.85 crore, another Health and Wellness Centre at Ultachhara for Rs 35 lakh, and a Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) under the Smart City project at Agartala Akhaura Road, which is valued at Rs 25.86 crore, are among the six projects being inaugurated.
Additionally, seven additional development projects will have their foundations laid. These include the Central Detective Training Institute in Agartala, which will cost Rs 120 crore; a new office building for the Sub-Divisional Magistrate in Ambassa, which will cost Rs 12.5 crore; a Sub-Divisional Hospital at Gandatwisa, which will cost Rs 19.2 crore; approach roads and two railway overbridges in Jirania, West District, which will cost Rs 37 crore.
Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs) in 11 cities will be built for a total of Rs 88.15 crore, 16 km of main roads in Agartala will be improved for Rs 318 crore, and a road from Debendra Chowdhury Para (Belchhara) to Chanakhla under the Padmabil RD Block in Khowai will be built for Rs 40.38 crore.
