TIPRA chief Pradyot Debbarma confirmed this decision on Sunday, July 16, bringing an end to his leadership role in the political organization.

In a statement, Pradyot Debbarma stated that as his term as the chairman of TIPRA Motha Party drew to a close, he would not be seeking reappointment.
