Tripura CM Invites PM Modi to Inaugurate Redeveloped Mata Tripureswari Temple

Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his official residence in New Delhi on Saturday.

NEW DELHI: Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his official residence in New Delhi on Saturday. During the meeting, Chief Minister Saha extended an invitation to Prime Minister Modi to inaugurate the newly redeveloped Mata Tripureswari Temple at Matabari in Tripura.

“Delighted to meet Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Adarniya Shri @narendramodi Ji at his residence at Lok Kalyan Marg, New Delhi. On behalf of the people of Tripura, I invited him to inaugurate the redeveloped Mata Tripureswari Temple premises at Matabari, Tripura,” CM Saha posted on X.

The chief minister also conveyed warm wishes to PM Modi for his successful visits to France and the USA. He congratulated him on the BJP’s recent victory in the Delhi Assembly elections.

During the meeting, the chief minister also stressed the need for premier institutions like AIIMS, IIT, and IIM in the state. He said, “Apprised him of the need to set up premier institutes like AIIMS, IIT & IIM in the state.”

Saha said that the deliberations included the proposed national highway route from Kamalpur to Santirbazar, via Ambassa, Ganda Twisa, and Amarpur.

He stated that discussions focused on key sectors of Tripura’s development, including agriculture, agarwood, and rubber. He further highlighted the importance of strengthening these industries to generate employment opportunities for the state’s youth and boost its economy.
