KHUMWLWNG: The Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) is preparing to sign a memorandum of understanding with a Bangalore-based agency to facilitate employment opportunities for skilled health professionals, such as nurses, in Japan.
Chief Executive Member of TTAADC, Purna Chandra Jamatia, shared the update through a social media post on Saturday, stating that a preparatory meeting for the MoU signing was held at the Principal Office of Health. Jamatia mentioned that he had a productive discussion with representatives Ajay Kumar Sahani and Kanako Shimizu from Navis HR, Bengaluru.
The meeting, which took place at the Chamber of the Principal Officer of Health in Khumulwng, was attended by Hon’ble MDC Uma Sankar Debbarma and Principal Officer of Health Dr. Partha Debbarma. The primary objective of this initiative is to create international job opportunities for the youth of Tripura, with a special emphasis on individuals from the Tiprasa community.
The social media statement highlighted that the program aims to provide specialized training and facilitate employment in Japan for skilled professionals, including nurses and other technical roles. According to Jamatia, the upcoming agreement will play a crucial role in empowering Tripura’s youth by offering them access to global job markets, particularly in Japan.
